(March 27 – 14:40 ET) – TD Canada Trust has unveiled a brand new look in their Atlantic Canada branches this week.

The integration of the TD and Canada Trust branches located in the Atlantic provinces was completed over the past weekend. On Monday, TD and Canada Trust branches in Atlantic Canada opened as TD Canada Trust. The combined customer base can now be served at any TD Canada Trust branch in Atlantic Canada.

Customers in Atlantic Canada now also have:

  • one single line of TD Canada Trust products and services;
  • TD Canada Trust EasyWeb internet banking and EasyLine telephone banking services; and
  • TD Canada Trust Green Machines.

The TD Canada Trust retail banking integration is expected to be completed by August 2001 and is being done in four waves across the country. The three remaining conversion waves are:

  • Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, May 19;
  • Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, and northwestern Ontario including Thunder Bay, June 23; and
  • remainder of Ontario, August 4 .
