The highest price per share paid by TD for CT Common Shares purchased today was $66.50. The aggregate number of CT Common Shares purchased by TD since January 10, 2000 is 300,800.

On January 10, 2000, TD mailed a take-over bid circular to the registered common shareholders of CT Financial Services Inc. containing TD’s offer to purchase all of the issued and outstanding CT Common Shares at a price of $67.00 cash per common share. The offer is open for acceptance until 10:30 ET on February 1, 2000, unless extended or withdrawn. The offer is subject to regulatory approval.
