(July 10 – 10:35 ET) – TD Bank is launching the TD MarketSite (www.tdmarketsite.com), its business-to-business e-commerce arm today.

The new site, Canada’s first e-commerce portal that connects buyers and suppliers in an open real-time Internet-based trading community, will be launched and demonstrated today at 11:00 ET at “The Link” (main floor between TD Tower Lobby and TD Bank Branch) in Toronto.

Stephen Hucal, TD MarketSite president and CEO, will provide an overview of the portal’s services, and will demonstrate a commercial transaction with representatives from Grand & Toy and Kruger Inc.

TD MarketSite has been developed by TD, with software from Commerce One of Pleasanton, Ca.
