(April 5 – 12:25 ET) – TD Bank Financial Group and BROKAT have signed an agreement to develop an innovative new suite of Internet-based cash management services for TD’s small, mid-sized and corporate business customers.

The new services will enable TD’s business clients to perform critical cash management functions online, such as balance reporting, customer initiated transfers, electronic funds transfer, wire payments, file transfer and a variety of other features – all via a single point of access.

“Our new e-services will enable us to help our clients meet their goals by leveraging the power of the Web to offer a faster, more simplified, and efficient way to conduct all their cash management functions,” says Mike Blaesing, vice president, Cash Management and Deposit Services.

The new Web-based service developed by TD and BROKAT is set to augment TD’s current PC-based suite of services later this year. BROKAT’s flexible e-services platform Twister™ will integrate seamlessly with TD’s existing systems and, in the future, will provide TD with the potential to offer its suite of cash management services through other wireless channels such as pagers and mobile telephones.
