(October 12 – 17:20 ET) – The Rushmore Judge Group handed out awards in Toronto today resulting from the joint RJ/Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants leadership study. Three of the eight awards were presented to Dan Marinangeli, executive vice president and CFO, TD Bank Financial Group.
TD was presented with the awards for Leader in Canadian Financial Services, Leader in Canadian Banking, and Technology Leader in Canadian Financial Services
The awards were based on choices made by their peers. The study entitled “A Portrait of Leadership in Canada’s Financial Services Industry” contains quantified results and opinions from over 100 of Canada’s financial sector senior executives, each of whom took part in an unprecedented personal interview.
Rushmore Judge says their choices were self-generated, the executives did not choose winners from a list. “TD Bank has shown incredible strengths and everyone is aware of it,” notes Gordon Walker, Rushmore Judge vice president who steered the study project. Rushmore Judge Group is a human resources company.
Other winners included RBC Dominion Securities, MBNA Canada, Fidelity Investments, Phillips Hager & North and Manulife Financial.
