StockHouse.com, a financial web portal, today launched a variety of new premium services, including unlimited real time quotes for Canadian and U.S. exchanges and a “no bull” PRO version of its popular “BullBoards” message forums.

“We’re responding to the requests of our users,” says StockHouse president and CEO Jeff Berwick. “With the markets as volatile as they are right now, investors need all the help they can get to make smart, informed investment decisions.”

StockHouse “Power Members” can choose to receive unlimited real time quotes for Canadian and U.S. exchanges in the Portfolio and Company SnapShot areas. Subscribers can also search hundreds of financial sources with MediaScan and access all of the StockHouse alerts, news and charting features.

Catering to the demands from users, StockHouse is also offering Power Members the opportunity to surf the site without banner or pop-up ads.

Another new feature is BullBoards PRO, a premium version of the popular StockHouse financial message forums. This feature allows investors to engage in informative discussions with other PRO subscribers, and block messages from users without a premium subscription.

Pricing for the new StockHouse Power Membership begins at $24.95 per month, plus exchange fees and applicable taxes. BullBoards PRO is included for Power Members and is also available separately for $10 per month plus tax, billed annually.

Berwick adds that StockHouse is not just placing a price tag on services it has offered for free in the past. “We are committed to maintaining the best free financial website in North America, but we’re moving towards profitability by delivering premium features that add value for investors,” he says.
