SHARE adds four new members to board of directors

The Shareholder Association for Research and Education (SHARE) has welcomed four new members to its board of directors, the association said Monday.

The new directors are:

• Margot Sunter, director of finance and administration, Community Foundation of Ottawa;
• Gerry Tiede, chair, BC Teachers Pension Fund;
• Ellen Pekeles, senior vice president of strategy, Vancity Credit Union; and
• Bill Kuehnbaum, trustee and chair of the investment committee of the pension plan of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.

“We are delighted to welcome to the SHARE board these four new directors whose rich and diverse backgrounds will play an important role in our continuing development as a leader in responsible investment in Canada,” says Kenneth Georgetti, chairman of the board of SHARE.

Vancouver-based SHARE promotes, coordinates and implements responsible investment practices.
