A hearing date has been set for the consideration of a settlement agreement between Investment Dealer Association enforcement staff and Paul Alexander Bishop.

The proceeding is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at the Atchison and Denman Court Reporting Services Ltd., 155 University Avenue, Suite 302, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding is open to the public except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.

If the IDA’s Ontario District Council determines that discipline penalties are to be imposed on Bishop, the IDA will issue an bulletin giving notice of the discipline penalties assessed, the regulatory violations committed, and a summary of the facts.

Copies of the bulletin and settlement agreement will be made available.
