Scotiabank today announced the extension of its odd lot buyback program to
February 28, 2002 at 16:00 ET.
The program is available in Canada and the U.K. for registered shareholders and beneficial owners of 99 or fewer of The Bank of Nova Scotia’s common shares as of October 22. Originally scheduled to expire on December 18, 2001, the voluntary program enables eligible shareholders to sell their shares without paying a brokerage commission.
The extension is made with the approval of The Toronto Stock Exchange.
