of Nova Scotia and Microsoft
Canada Co. today formed a
strategic partnership to develop
and explore new online services.
Scotiabank will be the premier
banking partner on Microsoft’s
portal Web site, and will work with
Microsoft Canada to develop a
comprehensive financial services
portal for consumers and to deliver
a complete range of e-commerce
services for businesses.
The agreement “signals a move
into the next generation of
electronic banking services,
dedicated to developing
personalized financial Internet
applications for Canadians, and
customized e-commerce solutions,”
says Albert Wahbe, Scotiabank’s
executive vice president,
electronic banking.
