(October 26 – 12:20 ET) – Former
U.S. Treasury Secretary, Robert
Rubin, has landed on his feet at
banking giant Citigroup.

The firm is announcing that the
much-admired Rubin will be joining
the firm as chairman of the
executive committee of the board.
The move forms a trinity in
Citigroup’s executive office, with
John Reed and Sandy Weill.

Prior to his stint as Treasury
secretary, where he was largely
credited with helping nurture the
U.S. economic miracle, Rubin ran
the venerable investment banking
house, Goldman Sachs LLP, as
co-managing partner.
