They include Lise Bastarache, Vice-President, RBC Private Banking for Quebec, and François-Dominique Boies, Vice-President, Personal Financial Services and Richard Côté, Vice-President, SME both for the Montreal Core and West Island Region.

“We believe it is appropriate to adjust our management structure in order to increase our presence in the SME sector in Montreal and to strengthen our commitment to our customers in other priority business sectors,” says Micheline Martin, senior VP, Quebec Headquarters, Royal Bank.

Bastarache will manage all of Royal Bank’s Private Banking activities in Quebec, including Global Private Banking. She previously held other positions in Private Banking, in the Commercial Markets sector and was Deputy Chief Economist. She joined Royal Bank in 1996 as an economist.

François-Dominique Boies is responsible for Personal Financial Services in the Montreal Core and West Island Region. He joined the Bank in 1995 and has worked primarily in the Commercial Banking sector.

Small and medium enterprise customers in the Montreal Core and West Island Region will receive even more attention, says the bank, now that it has created a vice-president position specifically for this market. Richard Côté, will have Royal Bank’s largest SME portfolio in Quebec under his responsibility. Côté held numerous management positions before joining Royal Bank in 1975.
