(March 21 – 10:45 ET) The Canadian Venture Exchange has reclassified Rice Capital Management Plus Inc. to Tier 1 company status.

The Tier 1 classification is the CDNX’s premier tier and is reserved for the Exchange’s most advanced Issuers with the most significant financial resources. Tier 1 Issuers benefit from decreased filing requirements and improved service standards. This reclassification by the CDNX of Rice to Tier 1 recognizes the financial strength and resources of RCE.

RCE is the holding company of Winnipeg based Rice Financial Group Inc., a retail financial services company and Independent Wealth Advantage Inc., a provider of back office support services to independent financial planners and mutual fund representatives in Alberta and British Columbia.
