The Investment Dealers Association of Canada has scheduled a hearing before the Ontario District Council of the Association concerning Rampart Securities Inc.

The hearing is in relation to an order suspending the membership of Rampart Securities Inc. It is scheduled to commence at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2001, at the offices of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada, 121 King Street West, Suite 1600, Toronto, Ontario.

The hearing is open to the public except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
