Pacific International Securities Inc. today announced it has changed its name, effective July 1, to PI Financial Corp.

With the name change, PI is introducing more contemporary corporate graphics and a logo.

Max Meier, chairman & CEO, said the new look reflects the evolution of the firm’s business, including the successful and significant expansion of its capital markets and private client services divisions.

However, he said the firm made a conscious decision to retain “PI” in its name, “as we are proud of our history and our proven track record, including 25 consecutive years of profitability, which, we believe, says a great deal about our clients’ confidence in us.”

The three bladed “turbine” in the company’s new logo represents PI’s three key clients groups – private clients, corporations, and institutions – and symbolizes the firm’s drive for results and performance. He said the new corporate position statement — “experience. driven.” reflects the depth of experience and knowledge within the company and the firm’s unrelenting focus on helping clients achieve their goals.

The new corporate identity was unveiled to clients at a reception held to celebrate the firm’s 25th anniversary and launch the new brand image.
