Bank of Montreal (BMO) announced the launch of its Technology & Innovation Banking Group on Tuesday.
The group will offer tailored advice and funding to tech companies at every stage of their life cycle, and work with the bank’s capital markets and wealth-management teams to provide corporate banking and investment services, BMO said in a release.
Andre Salvi, who has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, will lead the Technology & Innovation Banking Group.
“These companies have diverse needs — including investing, business planning, and wealth-management requirements,” Salvi said in the release. “We bring a bank-wide approach and are excited to make an impact and help the companies in this fast-evolving sector.”
Devon Dayton and Deirdre Bergin will both serve as managing directors of the group.
