(September 15 – 11:20 ET) – The North American Securities Administrators Association is holding its 83rd Annual Conference in Montreal this year from September 17 to 19.

The NASAA meeting will focus on the impact of technology on financial markets. “It is these discussions that will let us better harmonize our respective regulatory programs and foster cooperation throughout North America, in order to increase the efficiency and integrity of our various securities market,” says Carmen Crépin, chairwoman of the Commission des Valeurs Mobilieres du Quebec, a NASAA member organization.

NASAA and the CVMQ share the same continuing concern of protecting investors, says Crépin.
