Millennium Partners, L.P. and Millenco, L.P. have acquired ownership and control of an aggregate of 6,046,900 subordinate voting shares of Trizec Canada Inc.

Millennium now hold approximately 11.5% of the issued and outstanding subordinate voting shares. But depending on market conditions, Millennium may make further purchases of Trizec shares.

The shares, acquired through the Toronto Stock Exchange and the U.S. over-the-counter market, were purchased for investment purposes, not for the sake of influencing the control of direction of Trizec.
