(November 13 – 15:30 ET) – Manulife Financial has signed an agreement to begin distributing individual life insurance, annuities and other individual products through PinnAcle Brokerage, a leading distributor of insurance and investment products based in British Columbia.

PinnAcle has been serving independent insurance brokers since 1993 in British Columbia with offices in Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and Prince George.

“We are extremely pleased that we have been able to conclude a distribution agreement with PinnAcle Brokerage since they are one of the top insurance brokerage firms in the BC market,” said Lyle Doherty, British Columbia regional vice president for Manulife.

Manulife’s agreement with PinnAcle follows an announcement by Manulife on January 31, that the company will expand its individual sales and marketing capacity across Canada through distribution agreements with a number of new sales organizations and agencies in the coming year. Since the announcement, Manulife has signed more than a dozen such agreements to broaden distribution in Canada.
