Manulife Financial has launched a new service that gives advisors across Canada instant access to quick online annuity quotes for their clients through Manulife’s advisor-only Web site, Repsource.

The new quotation system provides advisors with easier online access to Manulife annuity income quotations and easier-to-read client reports.

“This Web-based quotation system provides advisors with a convenient way to provide the best annuity options for their clients,” says Rick Annaert, Manulife vice president, Planning and Strategy. “

“Interest in annuity payout products has increased dramatically at Manulife over the past year,” notes Annaert. “As the general Canadian population ages, we are finding more clients concerned with guaranteed retirement income. By using some of their retirement savings to buy a life annuity, clients can feel more comfortable investing the rest a bit more aggressively.”
