(August 8 – 11:30 ET) – Manulife Financial says it has signed an agreement to begin distributing individual life insurance, annuities and other individual products through Wise Riddell Financial Group.
Wise Riddell Financial Group, with more than 300 financial advisors, is a provider of insurance and related products based in Southern Ontario. Its team has been the sole provider of insurance advice to members of the Ontario Medical Association for over 20 years.
“Wise Riddell Financial Group is well managed and has a strong presence in the Ontario marketplace. This is a good strategic move for us,” Royal Williams, Toronto regional vice president for Manulife Financial, said in a statement.
“We are excited to build on our “Power of One” concept by adding Manulife Financial to our diverse product portfolio. We are rapidly reaching our goal to service all advisor needs,” said David Stewart, director of insurance and financial services for Wise Riddell Financial Group.
