(April 10 – 12:15 ET) – Manulife Financial has signed an agreement to begin distributing individual life insurance, annuities and other individual products in Ontario through Marketing Concepts Group Inc., a provider of insurance and related financial products based in Ontario.
“This is a particularly good fit for Manulife Financial. It gives us a new opportunity in the Ontario marketplace,” says Bill MacLean, Regional Vice-President for Manulife Financial in southern Ontario.
Under terms of the agreement, Marketing Concepts Group will market Manulife Financial products through their Managing General Agency offices in Toronto.
Manulife’s agreement with Marketing Concepts Group follows an announcement on January 31 that Manulife will expand its individual sales and marketing capacity across Canada through distribution agreements with a number of new sales organizations and agencies in the coming year.
