Jitney Group Inc. of Montreal, today announced the official launching of MarketWise’s professional trading training sessions.

Over a four-day period, the first cohort of 15 students have studied live trading, technical analysis, order entry, short selling and trading strategies. MarketWise’s teaching method is based on rules created by professional traders, including specialists at the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq market makers, and floor brokers at the CBOE and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

“We recently announced the launching of an online service for traders that is a big success after just a few weeks,” said Sylvain Perreault, company president and CEO. “So to complete our offer and proceed with the development of recognized Montreal expertise in trading throughout Canada, we are offering MarketWise trading program.”

The training sessions will be offered in Montreal on a monthly basis. The next sessions are scheduled for October 22 to 25, November 19 to 22 and December 17 to 20. Jitney and MarketWise plan to offer training sessions in Toronto within the next six months.
