(October 6 – 10:45 ET) –
IPC Financial Network Inc.
has made several new appointments.
Christopher Dingle becomes
president and chief operating
officer; Thomas Kofman has been
named senior vice president
finance and chief financial
officer; and Geoffrey McCord
is the new senior vice president
and managing director
distribution.
Dingle comes over from his role
as chief executive at RealFund
REIT. He has been on IPC’s
board since last October. Kofman
was CFO at another REIT, and
McCord was director of operations
and CFO at a mid-level Canadian
investment dealer.
IPC has been hot on the
acquisition trail since it went
public on the Alberta Stock
Exchange last year, snapping up
mutual fund dealers in Ontario
and points east. Its most recent
announced deal was for
Avalon Financial Services,
which has about 80 reps.
Dealer consolidation and
distribution convergence trends are
the subjects of a feature story in
the October issue of Investment
Executive. Check your copy of
the paper or look at the latest
issue, here on this website.
