(May 1 – 09:10 ET) – The Industrial-Alliance Life Insurance Co. is holding its first annual meeting in Quebec tomorrow to announce its annual results and a “major change” in senior management.

The meeting will be hosted by Raymond Garneau, chairman and CEO of Industrial-Alliance Life, and Yvon Charest, president and chief operating officer. The firm, which went public in February, reported an $83.4 million profit for 1999, up 20% from 1998.

The meeting is slated for 14:00 ET tomorrow at the Château Frontenac in Quebec City.
