(April 28 – 17:15 ET) – The Investment Funds Institute of Canada says the Limited Authorization Form and accompanying guidelines are now available at its website.

IFIC thanks its Powers of Attorney Sub-Committee for the new documents. The group chaired by John Hall from Borden Ladner Gervais LLP includes representatives of investment dealers, fund companies, an insurer, the Mutual Fund Dealers Association and a couple of financial planners.

Informco Inc. will provide customization of the form. The form can be found on the IFIC website by clicking on Regulation and Committees, followed by the Joint IFIC Administrative Steering Committee & FundSERV Policies and Procedures Group, and then the Power of Attorney Sub-Committee.
