The Alberta District Council of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada has scheduled a hearing date for the presentation, review, and consideration of a settlement agreement as it relates to Rogers & Partners Securities Inc.

The IDA alleges that between Sept. 30, 2000 and March 16, 2001, Rogers failed on six occasions to ensure that it maintained its risk adjusted capital at a level greater than zero.

The hearing is scheduled for 14:00 MT on Tuesday, August 28, at the offices of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada, Suite 2300, 355 – 4th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta.

Terms of the settlement will be made public only if the district council approves the proposal.
