The Ontario District Council of the Investment Dealers Association has set a date for a disciplinary hearing in the matter of Dimitrios Boulieris.

The hearing relates to allegations that while a registered representative at First Delta Securities Inc., Boulieris knowingly acting as an agent for a company engaged in soliciting for the purpose of selling securities while not registered to do so with the Ontario Securities Commission.

The IDA also alleges that the Boulieris traded for a client who had advised him that the client was attempting to manipulate the market price of a security.

As well, the IDA alleges that Boulieris failed to disclose to his employer that he was the beneficial owner or had a beneficial interest in one of his client accounts.

The hearing is scheduled for Monday June 17.
