The Investment Dealers Association announced Wednesday that it has adjourned its planned disciplinary hearing against Resolution Capital Inc. and its president and CEO, Gaston English.
The hearing before a panel of the Quebec District Council was to begin on August 23. Instead, it will be adjourned to another date, which is still to be confirmed. The IDA has made various allegations against Resolution Capital and English.
In June, the firm put out a statement indicating its stance that the allegations are without merit, “Resolution Capital Inc., and its president and CEO Gaston English have committed no infractions, nor engaged in any unethical behaviour,” it said. It also accused the IDA of persecuting small dealers.
