How to help clients with unstable incomes

Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. (IA Financial) has launched a a new individual insurance online claims service, the Quebec City-based firm announced on Thursday.

The digital solution is designed to allow users to file life, disability and critical insurance claims online while also tracking them in real time, the firm says in a news release.

“This new online claims function is a simple, efficient and quick way to serve our clients and give them the best personalized experience, says Pierre Vincent, senior vice president, individual insurance and sales at IA Financial, in a statement.

“Clients now have choice of managing their online claims themselves or being assisted by an advisor. Our goal is to serve our clients the way they want to be served,” he adds.

Users can begin filing a claim by completing a personalized questionnaire on the iA Financial website. No passwords or user codes are required to complete the claim form.

Once the claim is filed, users will receive confirmation consisting of a tracking number and a link to the claim tracking page. This page makes it possible to follow the status of the claim, ensure all required documents have been received and exchange confidential documents securely.

“We are doing everything we can to make doing business with us uncomplicated, easy and enjoyable,” Vincent says.

The new individual online claims service is part of IA Financial’s greater efforts to provide efficient digital offerings. The firm is currently making progress on providing users online access to various documents, including insurance statements.
