(January 18 – 10:50 ET) – Hub Group has closed its deal for McIntosh Insurance Services Inc. of Victoria, B.C. It has also picked up the goodwill associated with managing general agent agreements from Paragon MGA Services Inc. and Paragon Financial Services Inc.

The annual commission revenue of the brokerage is $356,000 and of the managing general agency book is $490,000. No price was disclosed on either deal. The Hub Group is a participant in the rapid consolidation of the independent insurance brokerage business.
