HSBC Bank Canada, its subsidiaries and affiliates have published their seventh annual Public Accountability Statement.

“As part of ‘The world’s local bank’, HSBC Bank Canada takes its corporate responsibility very seriously,” says Lindsay Gordon, president and CEO of HSBC Bank Canada.

“We believe in sharing our success with the communities in which we live and work. That’s why we support a range of not-for-profit organizations across the country, especially those that place an emphasis on education and the environment — both a primary focus for our community investment,” he adds.

The statement includes information on the bank’s charitable donations and sponsorships that support educational, environmental and community organizations, and its commitment to its employees and customers.
