(November 18 – 15:00 ET) – The Investment Dealers Association of Canada announced today that a date has been set for a continuation of discipline proceedings before the Ontario District Council of the Association.

The proceeding against Michael Edward Holoday concerns misconduct that is alleged by the to have occurred from March 1989 to August 1993 while Holoday was employed at Midland Walwyn Capital Inc. It also concerns misconduct alleged to have taken place between August 1993 to early October 1994, while Mr. Holoday was employed at First Marathon Securities Limited. Mr. Holoday has not been employed as an approved person of a Member of the Association since October, 1994. The hearing against Holoday will continue at 9:30 a.m. on December 2, 1999.

The proceeding is in respect of Derivative Services Inc., and Robert Kyle, president and CEO of DSI, and concerns misconduct alleged to have occurred in June, 1998. The hearing will commence at 9:30 a.m. on November 29, 1999 at the Association’s offices located at 1600 — 121 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario.
