As of Feb. 19, Harris Investment Management Inc. will be managing the BMO Nesbitt Burns U.S. Stock Selection Fund. The portfolio management team will be led by T. Andrew Janes.
The fund’s investment objectives and strategy remain the same – to achieve long-term capital growth consistent with the preservation of capital by investing primarily in equity securities of large U.S. companies.
Harris is the investment management affiliate of Harris Bank, Bank of Montreal’s Chicago-based U.S. subsidiary, which has been managing money for over 100 years. HIM has over $US 16 billion in assets under management. BMO Nesbitt Burns and Harris Investment Management are members of Bank of Montreal’s Private Client Group, which has total assets under administration and management and term deposits of $263 billion.
