(August 16 – 15:05 ET) – Goran Capital Inc. and Symons International Group, Inc., major providers of crop and automobile insurance report the retirement of their chief financial officer, Bruce Dwyer.
Dwyer, who has been with the companies for almost 20 years, intends to return to Canada. The companies say Dwyer has positioned their financial operations into distinct business units with oversight of the separate divisions by capable financial officers.
Mary DeLaat serves as the chief accounting officer. Mike Jones serves as CFO for the crop division, IGF Insurance Company, in Des Moines. Iowa. Daniel McBay serves as the finance director of nonstandard operations. Robert Herzog is head of internal audit department.
The companies have begun the search process to fill the Chief Financial Officer position.
