Golf Town Income Fund today said a special meeting of unitholders voted in favour of a resolution authorizing the sale of all of the indirect operating investments of the fund by Golf Town Limited Partnership to OCPI Golf Inc.
The sale deals with a transaction agreement reached Aug. 10 among OCPI, OMERS Capital Partners Inc., the fund and the partnership.
Unitholders also approved amendments to provide for the redemption of units by the fund and a special distribution to be paid by the fund in an aggregate amount equal to $17.15 per unit.
Closing of the transactions is expected by Sept. 28. The units would be redeemed and the special distribution made on or about Oct. 2.
