Montreal-based Fiera Capital Corp. announced on Thursday the addition of three senior fixed income professionals, Charles Lefebvre, Luc Bergeron and Tan Vu Nguyen.
“Our fixed income professionals have consistently distinguished themselves for their extensive investment expertise and long term performance achieved throughout our independently-driven, actively managed fixed income solutions,” says Jean-Philippe Lemay, president, chief operating officer and chief investment officer of Fiera Capital’s Canadian division.
“Our new team members are no different, having demonstrated together long term top quartile performance for their clients, and I am confident that they will add a new dimension to our established fixed income platform.”
Each new fixed income professional brings approximately 25 years of industry experience to the role.
Lefebvre has held a variety of portfolio management roles focused primarily on the fixed income space, most recently serving as chief investment officer at Montreal-based Optimum Asset Management Inc.
Nguyen has held various positions in both consulting and portfolio management roles, and was most recently responsible for fixed income quantitative management at Optimum.
Bergeron has held various fixed income portfolio management positions at investment firms, as well as with one of Canada’s largest pension plans.
