In an effort to stem the spread of Covid-19, the European Banking Authority (EBA) is cancelling external meetings and suspending travel.
The EBA cancelled all in-person meetings at its offices in Paris scheduled between March 6 and March 14, and suspended all work-related travel next week.
Any regulatory staff that have travelled to affected areas — including China, Iran, Singapore, South Korea and parts of Italy — are also required to work remotely for 14 days.
The EBA said the measures are intended to mitigate the risk of infection and spread of the coronavirus.
