(September 30 – 12:45 ET) – Dynamic Mutual Funds Ltd. has entered into new insurance arrangements with the Canadian branch of Hartford Life Insurance Company for future investments in Dynamic Protected Americas Fund, Dynamic Protected Dividend Growth Fund, Dynamic Protected Global Partners Fund, Dynamic Protected International Fund and Dynamic Protected Partners Fund.

All orders to purchase units of the Funds processed by Dynamic on or after September 30, 1999 will be insured by Hartford U.S. on the same terms as the insurance currently provided by Hartford Life Insurance Company of Canada.

All existing investments in the Funds, including investments that are reset or rolled-over, continue to be insured by Hartford Canada under the existing policies.

Special meetings of the unitholders of each Fund will be held on October 28, 1999 for the purpose of approving the transfer to Hartford U.S. of the existing policies between the Funds and Hartford Canada.
