Day trading firm, Swift Trade Securities, is offering a direct-access trading platform that will allow traders to trade from anywhere in the world. The platform, which replaces the middleman from online trading, offers split second execution time over the Internet.

“While this platform is sophisticated enough to be used by professional day traders, it also can be used by any investor who wants to trade online,” said Peter Beck, president of Swift Trade Securities.

“The difference between us and other online brokerage services is that our clients have instant access to the markets without having to go though a third party. Another major difference is speed. We have the fastest execution time in Canada. Going through an online broker can mean delays that can prevent you from getting the best share price,” Beck added.

The option of using Swift Trade’s remote-access trading capability gives traders instantaneous and direct access to Nasdaq, Amex or the NYSE from anywhere in the world. “Whether you’re in your office, living room or on the beach, all you need is your computer and an Internet connection,” said Beck. “Basically, what we’ve done is expand our service to offer our in-house trading tools to all types of trader, whether professional or casual.”
