Children’s Miracle Day campaign is being co-chaired by executive directors Loren Francis, Paul Hennessy and Brian Thibideau.

Since the first Children’s Miracle Day in 1984, over $71 million has been raised for children’s charities around the world and across Canada. The funds raised are distributed to more than 350 charities across Canada with a mandate to improve the health, education and well-being of children at risk or in need.

Individual CIBC World Markets and CIBC Wood Gundy offices direct the funds raised locally to charities in their communities to benefit children’s hospitals, hospices, emergency shelters, counseling education and recreational opportunities, meal programs, and special programs for children with disabilities or serious illness.

“Helping to make a difference in the lives of children is a long-term commitment,” said Susan Storey, chair of the CIBC World Markets Children’s Miracle Foundation. “It is truly the generosity and dedication shown by our clients and employees on Miracle Day that ensures its success and growth.”
