Bourque: Bail-ins, living wills and recovery plans for financial institutions

Michèle Bourque, president and CEO of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corp., discusses Canada’s progress in instituting legislation designed to bring an end to “too big to fail.” She discusses Canada’s progress on recommendations from the Financial Services Bureau, including “living wills and recovery plans” and “bail-in” proposals for financial institutions.
