(April 7 – 17:55 ET) – Bank of Montreal is extending the BMO brand to its discount brokerage subsidiary.
The bank has formally changed the name of its discount subsidiary to BMO
InvestorLine. It takes this identity as part of the newly named BMO Private
Client Group, including the full-service brokerage arm of BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc.
The bank says the new name and logo are part of its move to a new corporate identity. In a statement to clients, BMO said, “This represents our commitment to providing products and services designed to make investing easier and to assist you in making more informed investment decisions.”
