(July 25 – 12:25 ET) – BMO Nesbitt Burns has launched a new technology platform for its Gateway client information centre Web site.
The new technology means faster upgrades, new offerings and increased functionality to online client services. It will culminate with the upcoming launch of Full-Service Online, BMO Nesbitt Burns’ all-inclusive investment program.
“A key part of our strategy is to continue to evolve our online capability to meet the needs of clients,” said Gilles Ouellette, president, Bank of Montreal private client group. “The enhanced BMO Nesbitt Burns Gateway gives us the state-of-the-art technological platform we need for expansion of our services.”
With the new platform, Gateway clients will be able to access third party U.S. equity research in addition to BMO Nesbitt Burns Canadian equity research and leading mutual fund research. The new technology provides faster access, and client account information is updated more rapidly.
“Using Gateway, our clients can quickly access analytical reports, comments and estimates as soon as they are issued,” said Ouellette.
The Gateway site is available to qualified BMO Nesbitt Burns account holders. Additionally, clients who sign up for the new Full-Service Online offering also have the ability to conduct trades online, through their investment advisor, or a combination of both. Equities, mutual funds and options will be available for online trading.
