(February 6 – 14:00 ET) – Chinese speaking Canadians can now obtain useful banking and investment information from Bank of Montreal’s newly-launched Chinese language Web site.
According to the bank, the Web site at www.bmo.com/chinese, helps customers find the nearest branch or that offers services in Chinese and its hours of operation. The site provides toll-free numbers to connect customers to Bank of Montreal staff who can speak in Cantonese, Mandarin or English about a wide range of products and services that are available through BMO mbanx Direct, BMO InvestorLine and BMO Investment Centres.
“Our Chinese speaking customers now have more choice in accessing banking information in their own language from the comfort of their home or office, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days a week,” said Peggy Sum, senior vice president, Asian Markets.
” Our new Chinese language web site is key to getting it right with the growing number of our Chinese speaking customers by offering faster, easier, less expensive and more accessible products and services,” said Kathleen O’Neill, executive vice president, BMO mbanx Direct and Client Value Management.
