(December 18 – 11:55 ET) – Bank of Montreal’s Veev wireless banking and investment services continues to expand its reach across the country with the announcement that it is now available in Atlantic Canada and Manitoba.

Bank of Montreal customers in the Atlantic provinces can now access Veev wireless banking and investment services through Aliant Inc.’s WireFree Internet access. In Manitoba, Veev is available through MTS Digital PCS wireless Internet access.

This adds two more regional telecoms to the bank’s growing list of web-enabled carriers which now includes Bell Mobility in Ontario and Quebec, Telus Mobility in Alberta and British Columbia, Clearnet and Rogers AT&T across Canada and Sprint PCS in the U.S.

Veev is Canada’s first and largest wireless Internet package of financial services. Veev users have secure access to a variety of banking, investment, e- commerce and lifestyle services including stock trading through BMO InvestorLine direct brokerage, access to account balances and transaction details, funds transfer, bill payment, stock, mutual fund and index quotes.
