BMO Capital Markets is hosting its 6th Annual North American Equity Through Education trading day on Wednesday, September 22.
Once again, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (TSX:BMO) will donate one day’s worth of institutional equity trading commissions earned in the U.S. and Canada to nine charitable organizations that seek to improve access to education for bright and deserving individuals.
Since the launch of the program in 2005, Equity Through Education has raised a total of $8.1 million, assisting more than 2,000 individuals who have directly benefited through scholarships, bursaries and other educational programs.
The charities that BMO Capital Markets will support this year via Equity Through Education are:

> The Financial Women’s Association
> Foundation for the Advancement of Aboriginal Youth (FAAY)
> The Jackie Robinson Foundation
> Lime Connect
> National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation
> The Pathways to Education Program

> Youth in Motion’s Top 20 Under 20 Program
