(November 6 – 17:00 ET) – Bank of Montreal has appointed Ted McCarron as senior vice president, personal and commercial financial services, Prairies division, based in Calgary.

McCarron is responsible for the full range of services the bank provides to personal and commercial clients throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

“He is a dynamic individual who brings significant expertise and leadership to his position,” said Pam Robertson, who held the position previously.

Robertson has been promoted and named an executive vice president of the bank in personal and commercial banking division and will be moving to Toronto.

McCarron was most recently senior vice president for Toronto in the bank’s Ontario division.

A native of Saskatchewan, McCarron lived and worked in the Prairies for more than 31 years. He holds a MBA from the University of Toronto. His bank career spans 20 years with postings in Alberta and Ontario in roles ranging from manager, credit, loan review to senior commercial banking manager and vice president, community banking.
