Bieber Securities Inc. today announced the opening of its office in Brandon, Man. The office is the sixth branch for Bieber.

The 10-year-old Winnipeg-headquartered full service investment firm began its expansion program in 2005 and also operates offices in Portage la Prairie, Dauphin, Swan River and Arborg.

“This is the story of a local boy who makes good and returns to his hometown roots,” said Allan Jacks, manager, Business Development of Bieber Securities Inc. “Founder, president and CEO, Guy Bieber, grew up in Brandon and even played Junior Hockey with the Brandon Wheat Kings organization, before coming to Winnipeg to make his mark in the investment industry.”

“This is a particularly meaningful event as the firm celebrates its 10th anniversary,” said Bieber. “And we are exceptionally proud of the high calibre of the individuals who have chosen to join us in opening our Brandon office.”

The office is staffed by local investment advisors Dennis Collingwood and Cal Treichel along with a seasoned three-person support team. Together they have over 80 years of experience in providing investment service to Brandon and area residents.

Advisor recruitment and branch expansion is currently underway in Western Canada and Northwest Ontario to provide Bieber’s “second to none” program of products and services in both large and small communities.
