Bank of Montreal’s First
Canadian Funds now offer investment
security with the introduction of
the MatchMaker Protection Feature.
The new feature allows investors
to protect 100 per cent of their
initial investment in a strategic
portfolio of First Canadian Funds,
if held for 10 years.
MatchMaker Mutual Fund investors
who take advantage of the
Protection Feature are entitled
to any gains they make on the
initial investment at maturity,
but the principal amount invested
is always safe, no matter what
happens in the market. It allows
investors to participate in the
strong growth potential of
national and international equity
and fixed income markets, without
all the worries. Gains can also be
locked-in once a year using the
reset option. This creates a
new protected amount and a new
10-year protection period.
